Lewis Williams, Jr., Founder and CEO
In 2013, eDebit Direct Founder and Chief Operating Officer Lewis Williams recognized a need in the payment processing industry. He noticed that certain businesses as well as companies in niche markets found it difficult and expensive to collect electronic payments. In an effort to help these businesses, Lewis developed an online system that offered an alternative to costly credit card fees and inconsistent banking relationships.
With a track record of success in sales management and business development, Lewis understands that a smooth and secure payment process is of utmost importance to clients. He developed his business savvy through numerous successful endeavors, and built his financial industry experience as an account executive at both Bank of America and Bank Atlantic.
Lewis is currently co-owner of DataOne Merchant Services and also co-owner of TruView Ink & Graphic Supply, a commercial printing supply company located in California. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Business Development from the University of Florida in 1996. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Monique Drake, Director of Operations
As eDebitDirect Director of Operations, Monique has overseen the day-to-day business management for nearly seven years. In her role, she evaluates the efficiency of procedures, analyzes performance data and metrics, and ensures company compliance with industry regulations. She is also responsible for overseeing the operational budget, procurement process, and customer support. As a strategic thinker, Monique’s work guides the company toward achieving its organizational goals and objectives. She leads by example and rewards teamwork.
Prior to joining eDebitDirect, Monique served as a buyer for beverage brand Monster Energy, where she analyzed costs and negotiated vendor prices for the company. She gained experience in the financial industry as a billing specialist at LoopNet, a commercial real estate marketplace. Monique also served as an office administrator at Einstein Noah Restaurant Group and an inventory specialist at Lance Stanton Vance Lumber Company.
Jeff Ragsdale, Vice President of Sales
As eDebitDirect’s Vice President of Sales, Jeff Ragsdale is responsible for building a loyal, high-performance sales team to recruit and provide superior customer service to new clients. With over 20 years of experience, Jeff has consistently trained sales professionals that have helped support corporate growth objectives.
As a natural leader, Jeff have served in a variety of management roles throughout his career. For the past six years, Jeff served as Executive Director of Sales and Operations for a Colorado-based private equity firm. Jeff also served for 10 years as Vice President of Sales for a privately-held financial institution, where he grew into a strong communicator with the ability to gain the trust of and inspire confidence in a diverse set of customers.
Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science at San Diego State University/Mesa State University in San Diego.
Tony Carrasco, Strategic Account Manager
With over two decades of sales and marketing experience, Tony Carrasco is an expert in creating strong client relationships through customer support. As eDebitDirect’s Strategic Account Manager, Tony supports new and existing clients from day one. His approachable style and consistent “can-do” attitude are assets to the company and its clients.
Prior to joining eDebitDirect, Tony served as a client partner at information technology company CoreALM, where he drew on his sales and customer service skills to generate new business and retain current clients. For more than five years, he also attracted new business to software company CSS Impact, as the company’s Director of Business Development. Tony began his career as an operations manager at both U.S Security Associates and AlliedBarton Security Services, where he managed 400+ employees.
